"That's the seventh," a somewhat portly man said, looking into the distance.
"Hmm. Satoshi, you didn't feel any irregularities?" asked his partner, a well-dressed older man in a suit. The first speaker turned to him quickly.
"It looks like things are going as planned, sir. I admit I'm impressed. From that fiasco in Fuyuki, I didn't think running this without a hitch was even possible."
"Heh heh, don't underestimate the administrative powers of the Arrenforts. If it wasn't for us, this whole operation would have fallen apart in a day."
"Yes, yes. Well, things are only going to get messier from here on. I hope your marvelous administrative powers can..." The man named Satoshi trailed off there, and looked intensely back towards the city.
"Satoshi? Hello?"
"That's... what? They were already summoned, weren't they...?"
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm afraid it seems there's been a bug."
Night 0 updates have been posted. Moves are due by 8 PM EST tomorrow.
Feel free to use this topic for True Holy Grail War discussion as you wish. I'll use it for future War updates as well.

(If you ARE the one playing him, Satou, you realize that's equivalent to drawing one of my favorite Anime/Manga/etc characters in a typical war, right)

Y'know, I never really got what went on in the inner workings of that one except what alliances were formally made and Avvil's assurance that it was running "Very well"

Bear in mind that I said that as a player, and in the middle of the game. Not that I think it went badly in retrospect, but it's the kind of game you would need to play a lot of times with a similar group of people to really get a feel for, and in that particular case, it was cut rather short by an all-or-nothing gambit on the part of the five allied players. They could easily have gotten tricked by the traitor being one of the members of the group, since you can never prove that someone didn't get converted after the initial check.
Either way, it went fine for a test run, but there wasn't a whole lot of playing that actually went on.

I was one of the 5, and I honestly was looking for BFFs for that war, too...even if I got grouped up with the MM. It just so happened that none of us were, and the MM went looking for us, lol.
LillySatou posted... Oh, also, 'we' pretty much agreed to kill everyone we saw after the initial checking.
5 people were enough to take pretty much anyone down, and it was 'too risky' to get more.
That's the thing, though. If you read the post I just made, or just the rules of the game, the process you used to get those five wasn't perfect. Your group could have consisted of more than one traitor already.

They're talking about that Mitadake thingy Regaro hosted, if you're wondering about that.

The group thing wasn't binding, but I don't think anyone would have wanted to abandon the security that the 5man group gave, especially that early on.
The only possible way I can think of to as someone would want to is if the group encountered the other 7 people working together.
The game just didn't give enough incentive for the regular people to backstab each other, imo. Especially considering that everyone who wasn't converted could win if they nab the MM or get him to admit he was the MM.

The sign up story was talking about a Master trying to summon a servant, and night 00 was talking about the IGM and how he was freaking out over there being 9 servants.
No, that was the 5th. This doesn't use anime/manga characters and stuff, so it doesn't make sense to be set in any of the universes of Holy Grail Wars that did.

Okay, that was confusing. I guess I shouldn't have done that.
Satoshi is the same guy as for 11, but that was a meaningless reference. It's still a separate universe.

So uh, anyone have bets as to who will win this war? I haven't played in a long time but I'm guessing it'll be me...since I always win. Or at least come close to winning.
