Well, maybe you should play US and European games instead, but maybe they cast the same voice actors too. I honestly don't know though since I don't often look up the voice actor behind the character

Yeah, it's a different group of the same people in them. It's just the J games that are really annoying because I've been hearing those voices since Ninja Turtles and Rugrats.

The last thing I heard Scott Menville in was SC2, and there was a huge gap between Teen Titans and that. Dude's almost off the grid it seems.

Square Enix is actually pretty good at not relying on stock voices, Dissidia aside. Kingdom Hearts has some amazing voice casts.

No, I'm not. He's in Tales of Symphonia and Shadow of Rome, though, both of which are recent plays.

Also, I will call him Robin because that's automatically what I consider any character voiced by him to be.

Square Enix does all the localizing themselves. It's obvious if you've been following their games - they have a pretty distinct style. Things to look for are badly localized jokes followed by silly laughter, solid but "safe" acting, hammy villains and a high degree of pretentiousness that makes you go "please just loosen up a bit!"

Disney probably contributes on the economical side though.

Having been playing Xenoblade Chronicles for the past couple of weeks, I've really begun to appreciate the voice acting.

I mean, it's not great, but the fact that's it's different is enough.
