The Wind Temple is horrendous. I consider it to be worse than the Water Temple (changing the boots never really bothered me).

The only dungeon I consider it better than is Jabu Jabu's Belly.

edit: and yes, the earth temple was great. It's only beaten by the Forest and Spirit Temples.

Neither do I, I never owned a SNES - I didn't play ALttP until after I played OoT and MM. Nostalgia goggles don't make ALttP great, the game being ****ing amazing makes it great.

As for the dungeon debate, I mostly enjoyed WW's dungeons, except that ****ing Wind Temple. Easily my least favorite dungeon in any Zelda game I've played.

WW's dungeons are pretty mediocre, they're all very straightforward and have weak atmosphere, very forgettable all in all

they don't need to be memorable in order to be at least anjoyable

Tower's so low because I don't remember it AT ALL except for needing to sail a lot.
