1) This is the equivalent of asking for people to criticize your work on the internet.
2) What good is empty praise? If they're not looking for opinions on it, why do they care about criticisms?

I can't imagine being so insecure that I wouldn't want to hear from anyone who has anything to say about what I'd done wrong or what I could do better. If I were that insecure, I'd just turn the comments off rather than ask people not to criticize it and hope for nothing but praise.
Besides, what is there really to discuss on that video other than what you thought of the song?
