I don't use it, so I have no idea what it has, but I know about it because they have no-DRM versions of games that have DRM on Steam, such as Witcher 2. At least when it first came out. Don't know if the Steam Version still has DRM.

GoG will probably get System Shock and the rest of the Wing Commander series at some point. I don't know of anywhere that has them right now though.

Not really. It's probably the second-biggest PC digital marketplace after Steam, but Steam is so dominant that I'm sure tons of people don't know of any others.

Well, I'm looking at it now, and I'm digging some of the old games they have. They claim their games are compatible with XP and Vista...what about 7? I still have my boxed copy of M&M7 that wouldn't run even on my old computer, and I'd love to play the game again.

You know, this is my first time looking at gog.

Planescape, Icewind Dale, the first two Fallouts, the original Neverwinter Nights...

I may have to give in and join that site, too.

yeah, windows 7 is fine with the gog releases. probably the best feature they have to 'em.
and if you're going with WRPGs, don't forget Baulder's Gate. it's the series that really put GOG on the map when they did it, and the first major game they packed like this.

(Beyond Good and Evil for fans of that is there too.)
