It's not going to flop, but it's not going to outsell 3DS. Please correct me if I'm wrong here (I may be since I don't follow handhelds much), but people seem to be all over the Vita line-up despite it being comprised of "little brother" installments of games already on PS3. Isn't that exactly what PSP was? PSP had Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and Gran Turismo. It had games from all the series that made the PS2 a global success, but it still got worked by Nintendo's system.

Following in the PSP's footsteps, it won't win, but it sure won't be a flop. PSP did pretty darn well for itself.

The 3ds isn't competing against the Vita. It's competing against the Iphone. And losing. And will continue to lose.
