Fries so they don't go cold. Plus I like saving the "main course" for last.

Plus, I'm almost guaranteed to finish my burger if I'm done with my fries. I usually don't finish my fries if I've already had my burger.

I eat the burger fast enough to where the fries are at a decent temperature

even then I dont mind if they cool down as long as they still taste good/great

also on average I like fries more than the burger so I kinda have a 'save the best for last' mentality with that

I'm the sort of guy who eats everything in a linear fashion. I can't switch between parts of a dish. I have to eat everything one at a time.

For a burger combo, i eat it like this:

Fries. Well, I don't usually GET fries, instead preferring the much tastier onion rings, but when I DO, I eat them first. I eat onion rings first too.

Both, but I place priority on the burger which always gets finished first. A coworker always eats his fries first and made a decent point: if a burger isn't as hot, it's still pretty great. If fries lose their heat, they aren't nearly as good.

I never buy a burger when I get fries. I always order fries with chicken nuggets or chicken fingers. When I do that, I eat the fries first, then the chicken nuggets or chicken fingers.

The thing about fries cooling off is a good point that I never thought about. Maybe that's why they don't taste as good after eating the burger.

I never order fries at fast food, but when I do, I eat the burger first.

I always eat my food one at a time, and fries are just sorta junk filler rather than something I really want to eat, so I only eat them if I am still hungry after everything else.
