It's been awhile since I've done an update but here we are, a fabulous update from the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Alberta!

Everyone at the center is doing fine, there have been no unfortunate deaths so you don't have to worry about Pale and Co (Great Horned Owls) Or the Beaver (Who is doing great :D)

Since it was raining a lot, after giving some food to Little Ricky, I stayed to give him some company during the storm which he seemed to appreciate a lot. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

D'aww so cute. :3

I don't see porcupines often but one got into our backyard somehow. One of my dogs got overly curious about a porcupine once and got quills around her muzzle. She was very good about letting us get it out at least and the porcupine was fine as well.

Question about porcupine quills:

Can you hold them from the side? Obviously you wouldn't want to get the end stuck in you, but I've heard nefarious rumors about quills (as a kid, mostly so I didn't get convinced to touch one) hurting you with little spines on the edges or something.

Yeah, but we aren't supposed to really have Skunks but we get them sometimes.

I never get hurt by animals though. It's just my thing.

I do though, get hurt by closing doors on my thumbs which is a big ouch D:

Nah, he's about 1/3rd the adult size. Roughly. He was orphaned as well, no injuries.
