just because you can't figure out what the right answer is doesn't mean you can't see one and say it's wrong. that kind of taunt has always been pretty stupid and barely counts as cheap trolling more than anything else.

Actually, I haven't posted a "solution" either, so here you go: Just let people be and accept that file sharing is unstoppable. Take cues from Valve and (to an extent) Blizzard and earn profit by being awesome to consumers. Simple as that.

Except that they pirated it from the site, so it was still taking bandwidth. I mean, in a perfect world, it'd be nice to believe that most people that pirated it wanted to save them from the transaction fees since they'd only pay a small amount any... But they pirated it from the very site it was being sold on, still stealing the bandwidth.

Who the heck is a game's "creator?" Just about every game that's sold for money is owned by a company.
