Ayuyu 08/27/11 8:49:00 PM #3:	So I've been working in this Shopping Mall fast food called Teriyaki Experience, food is pretty nice and actually healthy which is a plus for a fast food but anyway ! So ! when I was hired there was no permanent managed, only some guy who came from New-Brunswick for a month to act as a temporary manager, he left two weeks ago thus leaving us without a manager, though some guy from Toronto came at our place to check on us and stuff and he took the manager duty during his time here, he also had to look for a real manager and he found one.. who sucks so much. He's called Moses (lol) and he's from the Dominican Republic, now that wouldn't be a problem but his French and his English are both really crappy, I barely can understand what he says when he speaks to me in French, even worse in English. He also has a lot of trouble understanding both languages.. and you know what he likes to do the most? Take orders, and you know what happens when someone who doesn't speak the language well take orders? People who get shrimps when they asked for a glass of water (seriously, it happened). That's only one problem though, he's supposed to take care of foods and stuff to make sure we have enough of anything to go through the day and the next one without having to rush too much. Obviously he can't do it, yesterday when I came to work I went to the grill and noticed that our vegetables were freaking PURPLE, carrots, green cabbage and broccoli aren't supposed to be purple and smell like vinegar. So like I told him that without vegetables that we wouldn't be able to cook 60% of the meals since they needed them and we had no reserve ones (well we did, but they were rotten too). So Moses bright as he is decided that instead of closing the restaurant because we can't be open when we can't serve 60% of the meals asked me to use the other vegetable mix (That is Bok Choy and Green Pepper). 2 problems with this, the mix doesn't taste the same and thus customers notices and 2 we have like 6x less of that second vegetable mix so we went through it in record time and were left with NO vegetables for a few hours until the girls working in the back made some (they worked like crazy that day I tell ya). So anyway, after that we wondered why the hell our vegetables were rotten, so we checked the fridge and noticed that the temperature inside it was 64°, 64! And you know what we keep in that fridge? Raw chicken, yes, raw chicken spending the day at 64°, now that's literally what we call a recipe for disaster. Moses never noticed though, of if he did never thought of calling a repairman and goddamn, close the damn restaurant until it's fixed. So anyway, Moses sucks as a manager and we're trying our bestest to get him out of the way but it's kinda hard since the higher ups don't want to fire him since they have no replacement. Well they think we don't but every single employee working there can do the job much much better than that guy even if we lack the qualifications, none of us can think of getting promoted though, because of those damn qualifications we don't have (and none of us worked at that place more than a month so..) I have a 50% discount on all meals at this place.. needless to say I'm never gonna use it. There is this fast food place near my house called Wrapper Jack's (healthy wraps, food bowls and such) and I think it's run by this dude and his daughters. They have a tip option on their Interac as well as a tip cup. I tip pretty often there because I can tell there are about 3 people working there and they serve good food with friendly service.
