That's about what happened to my old Xbox 360 before it red ringed. How old is yours?

Mine froze and red ring'd a couple times while playing Bioshock 2 last year. Microsoft identified the problem as likely a broken power brick. They sent me a new one, but I've still been using the original without any further problems. I think the universe was just telling me to stop playing Bioshock 2.

Hmm, you know I might just get a new one. I don't need a hard drive or anything, but they have that 199 home Edition right? Since it turns out my power strip works. (Light is green if I turn on 360). Its the 360 thats dead. But that power strip should be replaced anyway.

an Extra 60 bucks or so for new instead of refurbished sounds like a smarter move.

Plus I'll get it faster.
