Parrley. Gives him extra gold for last-hitting, can crit extremely hard (I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to have 50 armor at the start of the game and still lose 200 hp to a parrley crit).

He can also heal and cleanse himself out of stuff.

And after he hits 6, he can afford to go back to buy items and still defend his turret.

He also meshes well when his jungler comes to help him gank, because of his passive.

Also, notice how Peaf has the most fun with these "rarest" Champions when compared to common ones - Mundo, Galio, and Renekton are so much fun to use.

They are only rare because people are pretty dumb. Renekton is just straight legit but its hard to play him.

I need to play Galio more, I stopped using him post-nerf.

Renek has a beast early game but if you think his late game is anything to be admired then you aren't thinking of the right champion =P

Most definitely.

At least in terms of you being able to carry. Your teammates are worse than usual, but the other team is also worse than usual. Just grab some carry that can handle himself, take a solo lane, and win your lane which you probably should.

this is what I've been doing at least. Currently 3 for 3 while averaging like, a 12:1 KD ratio

To be honest, I got ruined by a Lux just now. We were both midding. I matched her in minion kills (we were seriously within two kills of each other the entire laning phase), but she was much better than me. Killed me twice, fortunately, the others (all B8ers) were able to make up the difference and I eventually recovered during the team fight phase.

Played with my friend, first game did pretty awful but my team made up for it, second game we baroned in 20 minutes and dominated. I had a crappy early game (though I believe Teemo always does...or maybe just for me haha) but picked up and never looked back afterward

Anagram: I don't feel like checking my sources, but if you're running 9/0/21 and cdr runes that's too much cdr.
You should be able to reach 40% cdr with flat cd blues, cd masteries, and blue golem. Morello's is okay in that sense since you don't waste gold on extra cooldown you don't need, but don't get ionian boots. get merc treads and hog blue (you're orianna, you're the #1 golem priority)


edit: if my memory isn't failing me, you get 14% to 15% cdr from masteries and runes. Golem gives 25% cooldown. So if you're not getting blue golem, it's okay to get morello's as a luxury item if you need the CDR. it's definitely what I did as pre-change soraka because my teammates would always take blue from me.

Is it humanly possible to lose top lane as Garen nowadays? Activate W and Q. Eat enemies damage then silence them. Then spin. Then go back to brush. Until passive activates. Last hit and build that W. Is W up again? Yes? Do the combo again.
