I'm not too big on shooters, unless its more of an action/adventure type thing (like borderlands). I love rpgs and fighting games mainly. my xbox collection currently only consists of my lil brothers old tales of vesperia game, so rec. me some good ones =]
Lost Odyssey is my favorite 360 exclusive. There are a ton of good XBLA games -- Rez HD, Super Meat Boy, Braid, Ikaruga, From Dust, Castle Crashers, CRASH COURSE (best game ever, also free). You could check out Fable, if you're into that.
I personally thought Lost Odyssey was less appealing (due to have your party being obsolete, predictable story, and some lull moments) and found Blue Dragon to be more entertaining (both are made by the same company).
The original Dead Rising was incredible, much better than the sequel. I've also heard good things about Fable 2 and Fable 3, as well as well Alan Wake and Deadly Premonition.
I sold my 360 a few years ago. There wasn't enough draw to keep me interested, and it kept breaking down with the Red Ring error <_>.
Deadly Premonition for sure and Alan Wake is decent. If you can't speak Japanese, then Tales of Vesperia is a quality RPG. I'm a huge fan of the Gears of War series especially for the co-op. Also Earth Defence Force 2017 is an awesome co-op game.
-- Still the number one reason for the success of the Internet.
I wish people would stop hyping Lost Odyssey. It's kind of cool for about a disc and a half and then it becomes extremely boring and repetitive. That's also about when you learn the entire story of the game and there is nothing new.

Um, there is no way the entire story is revealed by disc 2. Considering you still have to be introduced to 2 more eventual party members who are important in the story as well. If anything the story picks up the most around disc 3.
Definitely an awesome game and never boring or repetitive at least to me

Two more party members that add absolutely nothing. I get that they attempt to add some form of depth to a plot that is already done with less than halfway through the game, but they do a poor job. My brother, who is able to tolerate games that range from bad to mediocre stopped playing this somewhere on disc 2 I think. It's just not very good. It's not terrible, no, but it's not very fun. People like to tote this game like it's entertaining or something, merely because there are almost no JRPG's at all this generation.

This man speaks The Real Truth. I was trying to be nice in my opinion of Lost Odyssey in my first post. The game isn't that good, and is only liked due to it being a Final Fantasy Rival on the 360, so it's toted as being better than it is.
