I only listened to the first song, but that is the 2nd Zeta OP. I like it for the fact that it's not the same J-Pop as today's stuff. It's very fitting for the setting of the last stretch of Zeta IMO.

And I'll let Ganon sell you on G Gundam. All I gotta say is I shed manly tears watching it.

G Gundam is pretty much the perfect mecha anime, an amazing combination of super robots and the UC Gundam-esque storyline

Just watched an episode of the English 0079 with my friend. It's surprisingly not that bad. Everyone sounds about right actually. I especially like Char's dub voice.

Not too fond of Amuro's voice. Amuro is naturally a whiner, and the english voice actor sounds like an even bigger ***** than his Japanese voice actor did.

I have mixed feelings on Bright's voice. On one hand it sounds extremely bad ass. But on the other, he sounds much too old.

Yeah, I came to appreciate Amuro's japanese voice, even though he was a whiney baby (although not so much after around episode 20 or so). Overall, I'm cool with Amuro. I just don't like it when he emos out and does stupid stuff. Hopefully he's not like that in Zeta Gundam.

I saw a clip of one of the English Gundam movies. Apparently Steve Blum did Char (Sha)'s voice in that movie. Sounded awkward.

I'm surprised at how many suits and characters there are.
What is the point of operators? Just to add commentary to the battles? It's a shame there doesn't appear to be any 0079 operators. I'd have loved Fraw Bow or Sayla or Bright. Still, i can't wait until I can partner with Kai. The 0079 history battles were awesome because of him.

Well damn, I already messed up my RG 1/144 Char Zaku. One of the panels on the chest fell off and I can't find it. Luckily it is what I consider "non-essential" but it does bring down the look a little bit.

by some miracle, i found the panel!

All that is left is the head and the weapons. And yeah, I STRONGLY recommend this model. It's a very good and pretty affordable. Hobby Link Japan had it on sale for like 1500 yen

The RG is great. The only thing I don't like though is the skirt. It has a very had time staying on if you are trying to get the legs into certain poses.

If he were on-screen for CCA, he'd be in every part of the original set of UC gundam. No one holds that distinction,but he ties with Char and Amuro at 3.


He does get MENTIONED in CCA, so hes very , VERY close.

Yeah I have the RG Zaku, and its made doing the HGUC ones super easy.

I flew through the Gouf and Gelgoog after that and the Gyan is going well too.

A couple years ago, I took a course on contemporary Japan. One of our textbooks was about anime, tracing its development and impact on Japanese culture.

Gundam is only mentioned once: In the forward, where the only sentence about is essentially "They still make new gundam series, but really it's an outdated franchise that is a carry over from the 70s"
