It was like one long corridor. Sometimes there were side routes, so you thought you could do some exploring, but there were just lame treasures at the end, and then you had to go back to the main corridor, which you were never out of sight of anyway!

Yeah how ****ing lazy were Nintendo anyway? They didn't want to have to make a fully good game so they just put effort into a handful of places and let you skip the rest since they were so phoned in
