also, secret of mana = seiken densetsu 2 so it's the seiken densetsu series

Except, you know, the SNES one, which is exactly what the poll is referring to. If he's going to say Radical Dreamers doesn't count, then neither should Star Ocean. And a remake down the road for a completely different system doesn't count.

Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are both top 10 games of all time. Chrono series the only answer, unless you feel two games isn't enough,

both chrono games are great but because it is just two games it's hard to say it's the best franchise. but on the other hand, because they quit while they were ahead, you never saw it jump the shark and die an embarrassing death like final fantasy, sonic, metroid, silent hill etc
