Welcome to the 3v3 Haxball SUPER LEAGUE!!!!

Sign ups are done, BUT I AM STILL ACCEPTING REPLACEMENT SIGN UPS as no doubt there will be people that flake out along the way, so you can come in as a mid season signing or some ****.

A few things about the way this league will run: There will be no set fixture list and times, basically play your matches when you can, you can play both home and away fixtures in one go if you so wish. I will post all fixtures up in this topic, and its your job to work your way through them. Simply screencap the final score, and keep track of goalscorers and post it in the topic.

There will be a 5 minute time limit, no score limit, set on Big Easy.

There is also a Haxball AIM room set up by ExTha, which if made use of, will be vital to the success of this league. the room is B8Haxball

First things first, Extha came up with a good idea of everyone ranking their top ten haxballers in a point system order. This is so we can determine who the collective think are the better players so we can make more even teams. The top ten highest ranking players will go in to hypothetical Hat 1, the second ten in to Hat 2, and the third ten in to Hat 3. One name will be drawn from each hat, and that will be a team of 3, and so on and so forth until all the teams are made.

If you CAN'T do ten people, don't worry about it, just fill as many as you can. To be honest if you can't at least do half the list you probably shouldn't be playing (S&R people exempt). Anyway, if this fails, me and ExTha and maybe a couple of other select people will determine the hypothetical hats instead, but hopefully this will work as you all get a say in the fairness of the team drawing.

I don't really remember much about the S&R guys except that they were pretty dominant in the 1v1 tourney. I think we were mostly doing zombies when I was in the room.

Yonex and Rad Link 5 are in danger of being replaced, if they dont at least tag this topic in the next 24 hours then i will replace them.

I've never seen either of them play, and if I know Yonex, which i obviously do, he's barely around anymore these days and i dont see him following this through.

Give me a big field (And appropriate team sizes) and I can play pretty much anything decently well. Won't win a game on my own or nothin', but I guess I'm what you'd call a role player.

Also, what if the top 10 ranked guys are picked as Captains, and then the 10th place guy picks first, and then dead last (snake)?

I just hate random. Although the method proposed is certainly better than a completely random team.
