I would have preferred they get it right the first time and not release a game that barely feels playtested.

probably Gambit, Cyclops and Venom from Marvel. They were the top of the fan polls from Capcom-Unity, right? Maybe Silver Surfer because they thought he was "hard to implement" like last time.

ALSO, if we're thinking business-wise...

if there really is DLC, then they cut out the eight most profitable characters. People wouldn't pay s*** for Firebrand and Rocket Raccoon. They'd cough up ten bucks for a Gambit/Mega Man pack though. Capcom just sees $$$ when they decide to do things like this.

Only Nitsuma could hint at a third version 2 days after revealing the second version.

At least Ono admitted if SFxT has a second version it'll be a patch like AE.

None of those overlap with a fighting game. This game probably took less than half what it took to make the original, I'm thinking even if only 50% of the active people on SRK bought the game they would still make a profit.

If they're going to do legit DLC this time, then fine, whatever, that's what they should have done in the first place.

Also I don't think Silver Surfer is going to be in the game, 4th Marvel slot will probably go to Miss Marvel or Songbird or something since everyone's complaining about no new females.

Asura from Asura's wrath could also be in since there were a few hints for them on Facebook. Either that or they'll put some random obscure character like Saki.

I was thinking Ms. Marvel. It'd be cool to have her absorb and redirect energy beams. Great anti-projectile-spam character.

But how can you have Galactus in a game and not Silver Surfer? It just makes sense to me. And having him ride his board the whole time would be a really unique playstyle.

Both would be good.

I don't think Saki would get in just because his game didn't sell that well here.

Asura could work! Capcom isn't beyond advertising in another game and I wouldn't be upset if they did. Asura looks cool. Like Kenshiro + Akuma + Red Hulk or something

Am I the only one that doesn't care about the number of characters, or even which specific characters? I choose my characters based on their playstyles, and the 36 that were in regular MVC3 were already way too much. I played that thing for like 40-50 hours and I still hadn't touched half of the cast, let alone got bored of them.

I'd prefer if they focused on improving the core gameplay as opposed to just dumping characters on there, but it looks like they're doing neither so that's bad too
