I certainly love them, but I always hesitate to explain what I'm listening to when asked.

no no, I have no qualms with the coolness lvl of Sailor Moon soundtracks.

But try explaining that you are listening to a Sailor Moon Soundtrack to a 50 year old.

Its can make for an awkward conversation.

Yeah, so anyway, I was at this diner at three in the morning and the waitress was complaining about the radio crackling so my ex and I offered her my iPod and she hooked it up and it started blasting "Rhythm Emotion" all throughout.

Bunch of old people and drunks (and both) were really confused. So my ex and I, we kinda get up and dance a little bit, you know, to make things even weirder.

So you have music that you are embarrassed to listen to? I listen to VG/movie music sometimes at work and i just say i am listening to soundtrack/instrumental music or whatever.

Of course my library doesn't include the Sailor Moon music, because I can't stand that.

Butz, there is also a big difference between 'One Winged Angel' coming and someone asking what that is and 'Baby Baby Love' coming on and explaining what THAT is.

Select All -> Make Playlist with All -> Excise what you don't want (Sailor Moon, whatever else you have that you don't want heard in the office)

I listen to all sorts of world music that is much stranger than "One Winged Angel" and although it's not mainstream, most people understand when I tell them what it is. I won't deny some people think my tastes are strange, but music is an art for me, not a social bonding activity like it is for most people.
