No, I got up to the top of the tower and had a pretty cool with with the Sheriff. Then I met LaCroix he said "heh heh heh everything happened just as I planned, now give me the key" "no" "GIVE ME THE KEY" "no" "oh come onnnn please please please gimme the key" And THEN Strauss came in and said "well you did it now we're take the sarcophagus into this warehouse and never open it and hopefully everyone will forget about it THE END"

Even though that ending was pretty weak, I really enjoyed this game. So much so that I will definitely play it again. I'm thinking of going Malkavian that new Clan Quest Mod I see a lot of other people talking about, and siding with the anarchs too.

Malks pretty much have the dialogue of the entire game rewritten for them to reflect their crazy (for example, they know what's going on with Jeanette as soon as you speak)

Malkavian is pretty cool. Also I somehow skipped the tutorial level, even though I didn't pick the "I already know this stuff" option with Jack.

Wow, Malkavians have a lot of new content. Not only is every dialogue option changed, but every character I've talked to has said new things as well.

getting it to work was more painful than it should have been.

Apparently, they used a system call that checks how much ram you have, only it was written for 32 bit systems. So when I tried to run the game on my 64 bit version of windows with 8 gigs of ram, the value overflowed, and the game wouldn't boot because it thought it had less than 15 mb of memory <_<

I'm pretty sure the system call was obsolete when they made the game. Apparently the whole thing was rushed to publishing by Activision slave drivers, so it's just representative of the entire game. I'm a little angry, honestly. Thank god for the unofficial patch.

So anyway once I got it working I played until I had to go to work. Pretty sweet, could be a lot better, though. Maybe this kind of thing will be made again in the future.

A World of Darkness MMORPG would be the greatest thing ever, but unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's just a V:tM MMO, which is still pretty awesome.

But hey, maybe their expansions will have stuff like Werewolf and Mage (or they'll be badass and add the awesome stuff like Changeling and Hunter first. But I doubt it)

and of course, being the first game to run Source meant a lot of unfamiliarity with the engine and led to the s*** ton of bugs

Female, I chose the Dementation boost history. I'm going kind of the opposite of my last run, so I'll probably focus on guns for offense with some persuasion (and a point in melee to start out with).
