Still gotta go with the original ending for Neon Genesis Evangelion. Luckily End of Evangelion redeemed, but that TV version has got to be the worst f***ing payoff and execution of the themes portrayed on the show I've ever seen.

The last few hours of MGS2 are f***ing awful as well. Plotplotplot, insanity all abound, naked cartwheeling Raiden, random sword fights, then Rose shows up who may or may not be the woman you love.

Oh, the third act of Apocalypse Now. Just a rambling, stupid, mess with incoherent Marlon Brando and high-off-his-ass Dennis Hopper. I LOVE the film's first 2/3rds, but once its gets there, it's a loooong tumble downhill.

I'm wondering if the reason no one has mentioned BSG is A.) because too few B8ers even watched it, B.) because people have finally woken up to the realization that while merely sufficient overall and with a few glaring issues, it was by no means a dreadful way to end the series or C.) both.
