We have been doing a mass cleaning project in our basement and garage and in the process we would some stuff into our garage as we worked on the basement. As a result, my dad's car was taken out of the garage and onto the driveway and my car was moved to the street.
My mom took me out to lunch and to the grocery store and we took her car. As we are coming home, we see this Rumpke vehicle blocking our driveway a bit and we look beyond it to see my car's left side hammered hard, including my front-left wheel area all sorts of ****ed up and I am having my doubts that it is repairable.
I am glad that the woman driving it called her supervisor and didn't just speed off when she hit it, but it all happened because I bee entered one of the sides and she got flustered.
I have never had this happened to me, so I wonder what's going to happened. I have a '95 Ford Taurus, no need to be jealous, and there's no way that was going to have full coverage on that, so it probably won't be an easy thing to deal with. I guess I will find out soon though

I'm almost 30 years old and have never been stung by a bee. I am deathly afraid that when I do finally get stung I am going to go into shock since my body has never experienced such a thing.
I've had bees in my car.
I've had bees in a tiny bathroom with me.
I've had a house infested with bees.
Still, I've never cause damaged to anyone else because of my irrational fear.

You also aren't a woman ;)
All joking aside, you can probably expect to get around 1500 for your car.

My Japanese alter-ego. Hey all this is Bartz btw.
If she crashed into the car because of a bee legitimately, that's probably one of the most pathetic things I've ever heard.
Not to mention, if she was allergic to bees, she obviously would have mentioned it at some point to help justify the wreck.

I've been stung by bees many times for doing nothing. It is a defense mechanism, but bees will often determine your presence in an enclosed area (like a car) as a threat. In fact, I have been stung by a bee while driving, and I didn't even know the bee was there!
That being said, my wife is alergic to bees, and I tend to panic when one gets into the car while shes there.

Anyway, my car is probably a goner since my dad thinks that what I will get in return won't be enough to cover the cost of repairs.
I wasn't too attached to the car and I was planning on getting a new after I get my degree and get a stable, decent paying job, but it sucks for the immediate future for a couple of reasons:
One is that I won't be having a car for my senior year now. I mean, I could get a really cheap car if I was desperate, that is if I even receive my money within the next 3 weeks which I probably won't, but I could use that money for tuition/rent/utilities and those are more of a priority.
Second, my car is the only one with decent trunk space. My mom has a Focus and my dad a Jetta and we frequently have errands that requires the kind of space that my car offers, such as soil/mulch, and now we don't have that

Shouldnt the damages be compensated for by the offending driver? Her insurance should be paying for your repairs since that is the point of car insurance to begin with.

My car is beyond repair but Rumpke's insurance, which is Wells Fargo, will be compensating me once they go over everything. My car didn't have much value though, so it won't be much

If it is a case of "not possible to repair" then yeah that sucks since you won't get much towards a replacement. If it were more of a "not worth it to repair" situation I would fight like hell until they got you into a driveable vehicle. After all it's not your fault some woman has an irrational fear of bees.
And yes if you flail around like a lunatic in front of a bear it will sting you. Most people don't notice this though because immediately after the sting it eats you leaving very little evidence of the initial prick.
