most items on poweruprewards.com are worth around 20 dollars

for example, Microsoft points card is normally 20 bucks at any store, but you need 20k points to redeem it on poweruprewards.com

but now that you spent 5k to get that mask and you now have 20 bucks, go to a gamestop store and purchase it

you'll not only have saved points by not redeeming it through the site, but you'll also gain more points by buying the card in a Gamestop store

5,000+ points will get you 20 bucks with the mask!
