anyways, I'll be using this topic as a journal, posting my thoughts and progress as I play the game

please don't spoil me, but if I start approaching something missable, please tell me


anyways

last update, I had just gotten my Saberwolf back and I had just arrived at some town where there was an old alchemist

He told me to fetch some night flower

I did so an d I learned Zoom, a spell which allows me to teleport to previously visited towns

I went back to Harry's town and he got Married to that one chick

they told me that the Hero's shield is on the continent south of the zoom town


so I head out and make it to some town, that one chick from the very beginning of the game is there and apparently her dad is trying to find her a husband

god damn

apparently If you retrieve a fire and ice ring, he'[ll hook you up with a shield. AH! ITS HERE

she was all like "You want to marry me? You don't have to...I'll still...."

god damn this chick is loose lol

Okay, big update

I went to the fire cave and got the ring of fire

then apparently I had to go up north on a board to get the ring of water

theres a dam\bridge thing thats locked so we had to go to a nearby town to open it up

and I find Bianca there! My old ghostbusting childhood friend!

so offers to come and help me get the ring

long story short we go get the ring, once I go back, I'm actually given a choice between Bianca and Nera

and Deborah too, from left field!

Honestly I almost picked her, dat attitude almost turned me on to her

but gotta stay true to the childhood friend, ya know

maybe next playthrough

so I picked Bianca to be my bride

we spent the night together in the villa and woke up to our first day as a couple

also, mechanically nera is a bit better with a higher wisdom and better spells and debora is much more physically based bianca is the middle ground, but i disliked using her compared to the other 2.

I usually chose Bianca when I played the SNES version. I chose Deborah when I played the DS version, though (she wasn't in the original).

I chose Bianca the first time I played the SNES version. I was going to choose Flora/Nera for a replay, but I never got around to it. I did eventually replay it, but I choose Bianca again because it had been so long and I liked her.

When I played the DS version, I choose Bianca again because I wanted to hear all the things she'd say with Party Chat. In a replay, I choose Debora. I still have a save file at that point to choose Nera, but I haven't felt like replaying the game recently, so I still have never chosen her.

alright, so bossman offered to let us go on his cruise ship for free for a honey moon

so I got on that ship and played a couple of rounds of TnT. I won the first time I played it, I lost the 6 times after that >_>

and I decided to take a shot at the slots

I'm currently up 600 tokens

whats different with the other slots? sure it takes more to play them but do they give more too?

I have enough luck that I'll gain back what I lost

but thats the problem

I'm not that impressed with Saber >_>

I feel bad too, hes my homie!

but damn, he just doesn't dish out that much damage and hes not really that fast. He also can't really take a hit

I should just replace him with Mr. Fixit, hes really strong. Hes extremely slow but that doesn't really matter since Saber isn't impressing anybody and he has a higher defense

So I decided to go south

I found a mansion along the way and a ghost dude there wanted me to get something from some king and I was like whatever

I went further south and I found the King's palace >_>

he gives me crap for the mini medals

oh mans more sub quest stuff

well, he then directs me to where I can find that object the ghost dude wanted and I get it

I went back and I got into a battle WITH A LIQUID SLIIIIIME

OH MAHHH GAWWWWD


I killed it and got 10,000 exp awwwwww yea

I gave the ghost dude the object and he opened up his mansion to me

apparently I can fill it with all the Knick nacks I find

I had enough to the fill the first floor minus one row

so I decided to go exploring and backtrack to old towns to visit my peeps

we went to Roundbeck and spent the night there

that night she woke up and asked me if she could come close to me

I said yes, and she told me she loved me

then fade to black

aw yea getting laid gettin laid, son

I finally decided to proceed with the plot so I went into the desert in the south continent

I find this little town where Cleopatra lives
she apparently guards the helmet that belonged to the hero. I tried it on and I couldn't wear it. she then told me that I'm from Gotha, and my Dad was King there

Time to head west!


also, I got a couple of Desert Roses, and gave one to the guy that was in the well where Bianca's dad lives and he gave me some salt or something

I'll tell you, Saber (or Borongo, as he used to be known) saved my ass the very first time I played the game. He struck the final blow against the final boss, being the only party member left alive at the end. I'll always love him for that.
