A friend just invited me this morning. I don't quite see what's so amazing about it, other than the fact that it's new and different.

Basically, you can post stuff, but unlike Facebook, there's no one there to read it.

It will take your employer several years to find it, so you can post all your party pictures there.
That and there's some "circles" thing. -- *Lives in the Future* ... Copied to Clipboard!

Circles doesn't really make sense to me. It's like friends groups, but it's not.

Yeah there is a lot of potential.
Hangouts are really cool if you and your friends have webcams (or just want to chat and watch youtube videos together) but very buggy as well atm. Chat is SO MUCH BETTER. Facechat is awful to begin with, but Google chat lets you video/voice chat with a single person (and Hangout for more), add friends directly to a conversation, and pop the window out (SO GOOD). The circles thing is very useful. When you make a status update, you can choose who sees it. Want to post something that you don't want family to see? They won't see it. You can technically do this on Facebook too but it's a lot easier with Google+. Also, there's a "Following" circle too, so it's taking some aspects from Twitter. You can also switch your feed to show just friends, just pages you're following, or both. Which you can't do on Facebook to my knowledge. That's what I like about it. That said I have five friends on Google+ -- http://img.imgcake.com/AitchDeeTee/panicdancegifta.gif http://backloggery.com/herodeltiempo/sig.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!
