a Compilation of Shorts including Pecos Bill, Johnny Appleseed, Little Toot and More! I've seen all the shorts from when I was a kid but never in the format of this movie. All of the bits were enjoyable but its hard to believe that Disney thought these types of movies were great ideas after successes like Pinocchio and Snow White. Rating: 4.5 / 10

Very entertaining. For a film that is about a dysfunctional family, I would have liked it to focus on everyone's faults instead of just Mel Gibson and the elder son

Super Mario Bros - 7/10. As a movie about Mario and Luigi, its terrible. But as a sci fi adventure, its not bad. Hoskins and Legazvdasfamo are charismatic leads. Hopper is a neat villain. Daisy is hot. Toad is cool.

Still one of my favorite movies, got to rewatch it thanks to the glory that is Netflix. I used to own the DVD but have long lost it. Enjoyable action-flick with a neat science-fiction element. I'm a sucker for alternative universes and all things like it. And the ending scene is still kickass, Plus, its one of Jason Statham's earlier movies before he made it really big.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: 6/10 - Cult classic, at least Transformers: Dark of the Moon - 8/10. Don't see the big deal with this movie; half of this board's a little picky, I suppose >_>

Bender's Game: 6/10 - Probably the least favorite of the four Futurama films My Fellow Americans: 7.5/10 - Better than I originally thought, underestimated how funny James Garner and Jack Lemmon could be together. And it was filmed here in Western NC!
and because I'm watching it now... (again) Bio-Dome: 7/10 - So bad it's good :D

I had a hard time knowing how to rate this one and part of that reason is that I have an unorthodox rating system for movies:
9.0 and above - Must see film unless you absolutely dread a particular theme, genre, etc...
8.0 - 8.9 - Should probably watch it at one point and is probably a must see if you love a particular theme, genre, etc...
7.0 - 7.9 - Worth a watch, but you probably won't regret it if you decide not to
6.0 - 6.9 - On the cusp of being a worthwhile film. Some adjustments would be needed, but it was headed in the right direction
5.0 - 5.9 - This is my "average zone" I guess you would call it. It has some things going for it, but major setbacks hamper the quality a great deal but not to the point of being terrible
4.9 and below - Bad films, do not waste your time

So why did I give it that rating? I have seen plenty of spoof movies from the 80s and early 90s and this may be the most bizarre one. It is not a laugh-out-loud kind of movie, but it has a lot of quirks and subtleties that are truly great, ranging from Gary Oldman and his random physic discoveries, and remember that the play Hamlet, which this is based on, took place before Newton and company, to just the way that Tim Roth presents himself. The movie has stretches of pure brilliance and then mundane nothingness that actually made me contemplate stopping the movie or advance to the next scene.
Because of that, I can only say that this movie is worth a watch but is not of the utmost importance no matter if you watch films often or from time to time

Saw this years ago in the theater and remembered enjoying it despite being disappointed in the ending. Memory was pretty good. Neat premise, cool atmosphere, Johnny Depp is fun (and very young), but the ending is bizarre and unsatisfying. Made book collecting interesting to me.

My brothers and I used to love that movie when we were younger. Haven't seen it in years. =)
