Server spiders are serious business. Thankfully I played my turns right after rollover last night.

There's an outside chance that I might be able to make this run an eight-dayer. (pastamancer hardcore bees) Here's what I have left to do:
- Finish the nun quest (maybe 10-15 turns?) (filthworms and dooks are already done)
- The war itself (125 turns + boss)
- Hole in the Sky (currently have one star chart; may fax an astronomer if I need one)
- Digital key (currently have 15 white pixels)
And then the tower itself, though that's largely trivial in BHY.

If I don't make it, well, nine days is still a one-day improvement over my last BHY run, so it's not too bad.

Out of curiosity, how many people here do bees hate, and how are those people handling it?

Still not changing this signature until I darn well feel like it. So stop asking.

I've done 3 HCBees ascensions, twice as a pastamancer and then once as a sauceror. Pretty fun. Also, mmm 300 karma.

The first ascension was kind of a mess, but that was less about the bees and more about me being a noob at hardcore (I'm mostly a softcore player). A lot of enemies were OHKOing me; I was running a starfish most of the time and still ended up paying a bunch for MMJ; stuff like that.

So I decided I needed to be prepared before trying HCBees again. Did a softcore run to upgrade Tao and got myself a slimeling. With that, the second and third runs went a lot more smoothly.

That's probably more rambling than you wanted to hear. Anyway, bees don't hate me right now (I'm in aftercore and I'm next doing a SC SCNP -> telescope run), but I'm hoping to get in one or two more bee ascensions before the next challenge path begins.

I finally decided to ascend Null Vision. Just a couple ascensions to get skills for farming/Hobopolis/Sea and then he can go back to being my aftercore account.

1. hardcore TT (softperm Amphibian Sympathy, Tao)
2. bad moon black cat DB (softperm Mad Looting Skills, Nimble Fingers)
3. softcore AT - and then he's going to remain in AT aftercore forever. Probably.

Also, his first perm is Natural Born Skeleton Killer, because it's clearly optimal.
