Not sure what I want to do next. Maybe I'll try basement diving. I already have Tao of the Terrapin + Torso Awaregness + Elemental Saucesphere permed. I also have Smooth Movement + Sonata of Sneakiness + Aria of Annoyance for faster leveling to 30. (well technically I don't have Aria yet but I'm perming it this run) What other skills do you think are necessary for a dive?

The turtle tamer spookyraven skill is good for a creature, and one of the uncapped myst spells is good as well. Tao is the most important though, so you should be fine. I'd read the basement diving guide on the kolwiki, even though it's very outdated. It gives you hints and ideas on how to tackle each problem.

I'd most like either Oscus's dumpster waders or Zombo's skullcap, since I already have one of each of those outfit pieces. But I don't have a strong preference between them.

I haven't played this in forever. I think I was a Sauceror. I never did any of the ascensions or whatever they are. I was mostly into it for the economy, which I thought was really neat. I never had enough money to buy any of the really great items, but I could turn a small amount into a pretty large amount in a rather short amount of time.

There's a reason. Hobo is hard unless you're level 20. You're 16. The 3 of us doing hobopolis are close to or over 30. Making stuff does give stat boosts equal to the sign gyms though, so that will help you level up faster.

Of course, when you can kill hobos without taking lots of damage, you'll be in better shape then me, at least, because i have to nerf my spell damage so i don't overkill the normal hobos.

I can consistently kill hobos when using bandages. They can deal high damage with their special attacks, but Turtle Tamers are tough. It helps that they can take a single Turtle of Seven Tails, so I don't overkill them unless I want to.

Barely managed to get sub-ronin on that run. 992 turns. Part of the problem was that I forgot to turn off the non-combat quartet song while doing Sonofa Beach 'whoops'

Just one more ascension until my main is going to settle down in aftercore for a while. I want to ascend as a sauceror so I can eventually do a Fernswarthy dive.

Note to self: Don't ascend 30 minutes before rollover. Almost wasted a whole bunch of potential turns because I wasn't able to drink booze for the day. I just barely managed to craft + drink four advanced cocktails before rollover hit.

(had to complete the typical tavern quest to get the swill, since I didn't have the moxie to equip the hippy outfit to buy fruit to make regular advanced cocktails)
