In Bandersnatch, viewers make decisions for the main character, the young programmer Stefan Butler (Fionn Whitehead), who is adapting a fantasy gamebook into a video game in 1984. Other characters include Mohan Thakur (Asim Chaudhry) and Colin Ritman (Will Poulter), who work at a video game company; Stefan's father, Peter (Craig Parkinson); and Stefan's therapist, Dr. Haynes (Alice Lowe).

As a story it's like a 7 but I'm fully willing to give points for creativity because I had a very fun time with it

8's fair. Really sharp pilot for what Netflix Interactive could be, rife with attention to detail. Never seen a story use the British home computing boom as a backdrop before.

How the hell did Black Museum score that high? One of their worst, and S4 wasn't great in the first place.

But maybe this is the reason I didn't enjoy it that much - all the effort put into it and it wasn't worth it

Yeah it's fun but the story is kind of dumb and really slow.

8.5/10.

The storys not really the point, but the world it brings to life and the characters are terrific along with the sheer inventiveness of it.

it's not actually that good but my wife and I still say "PROGRAM AND CONTROL" in a funny accent on occasion so it gets bonus points for that
