"Metalhead" is filmed in black and white, and it follows the plight of Bella (Maxine Peake) trying to flee from robotic "dogs" after the unexplained collapse of human society. The dogs were influenced by Boston Dynamics' robots such as BigDog.

I'm guessing I'm in the minority, but I really liked this episode. It's a nice little survival story. And the idea that society could collapse because we built robot security dogs and they were too effective is freaky to me.

I'll gladly join the minority (so far). Such a tense little horror-survival episode. Love the black-and-white, it adds such a creepy layer to the whole affair. Hard to look at those robot dogs irl the same way now too.

Yeah the plot is borderline non-existent but the atmosphere is great.

I think this is one of the few instances where they kinda missed the point of Black Mirror. Unlike most of the stories, which were about humans misuing technology and suffering because of it, this was just a case of the technology itself not working properly, which just kinda makes it... any other robot sci-fi movie without that personal touch that makes it stand out

Nothing actively offensive about this one, but the sinister robo dogs seem way too OP. My favorite survival horror concepts pose the questionability of whether the protagonist can survive if they keep their wits about them whereas this felt like an uphill battle wherein the protagonist and everyone else living in this bleak world is just drawing out the inevitable.

Haven't actually watched the last two seasons myself so after the next ranking I'll be bowing out. This show definitely makes me feel some kind of way and he last couple years I haven't felt up to actually watching the final two seasons. And now Netflix has kicked me off my parent's account so who knows if I'll ever watch them haha.

Every episode after Bandersnatch is like 1/10 anyway save for Beyond the Sea. (I kid mainly but hoo boy does this show Nosedive real quick).
