Reading the links this is literally a nothing story. It straight up says if you have a purchased game it won't get deleted unless for compliance reasons

I also saw that being claimed but it doesn't come across as clear to me at all, one way or the other. There are multiple stories of people claiming their accounts have been deleted with paid games, and most mentions of this policy by Ubisoft don't say anything about not deleting such accounts even though that would prevent like 99% of the outrage.
