I already surprised him with it by revealing it with an opening garage door. It's Carl from the Mandelorian, and my friend flipped out. He's fine with the show but really likes Carl as a performer.

It's even funnier knowing I tried to set it in front of his house at first, but then having to go back and get it due to potential weather...and his camera caught me both times, but its resolution wasn't good enough to tell what exactly I set and took back. He just started the new Indiana Jones movie with a date and this mystery accidently distracted them the entirety of that movie.

Anyway, we all laughed for thirty minutes once it was revealed yesterday and now the discussion has turned to him wanting to prank our mutual friends with the cardboard cut-out.

Opening the floor for ideas. Have you done, heard of, or thought of any good ideas with cardboard cut-outs?

Back in high school, my sister was the only person in her friend group without a date to prom. When her friends were taking prom pictures, she brought a cardboard cut-out of Niall from One Direction (back at the height of their popularity) as her date to take pictures with. The pictures still make me laugh, ten years later.

I think my parents sold the Niall cut-out a few years later in a garage sale, which is a shame lol.

I look at that cutout and I instantly hear "MANDO HA HA HA"

I have one of those lifesize cutouts of Kylo Ren in the back corner of my house, facing out a window towards the side/backyard.

At night, it looks like a creepy person looming, it's awesome.

My first thought was if you cut the hand off.

I dont know where he got it but in the early 90s my grandpa got a cutout of Jack Hanna with a chimpanzee that he would just randomly move to different places in the house, looking out random windows, etc. for the next decade. We set it up at his funeral home visitation.

Probably because of the TV topic I read this as "Carl Wheezer" and was... just so confused. This is awesome, though!

I wondered all weekend if I should do it before buying it, and I am happy to report it is in fact a very HaRRicH thing to do.

Fun stories ya'll, thanks! I had one of Michael Jordan growing up until sunlight basically faded him away. Because of that, cardboard cut-outs feel like such a childhood gift...but I can confirm it is still giving grown adults joy and laughter here too.
