Just feel like this board made me think Other M is more hated than it actually is - in hindsight even before Metroid came out of hibernation it felt only marginally more loathed than something like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull or Jurassic Park III, and all three have their fair share of fans (not that I'm one of them in any case, but I think both Metroid and Indy get too much hate in general for being "merely" soul-crushingly average. If you eliminated most of Samus' inner monologue, changed her panic attack on seeing ~~Ridley's clone~~ to just surprise and an angry flashback, and had Adam actively working to remotely reactivate parts of the power suit after they get sabotaged by the under-utilised 'Eraser', there'd be nothing wrong with the game. I've only seen 2 Predator films and neither was the original, so can't comment. Crystal Skulls is the weakest Indy film, but its not super terrible. I think I "might" have liked it more if that obnoxious little asshole whats-his-face wasn't in it, and they hadn't switched gears to a sci-fy adventure out of nowhere. Ford did great! But is up there in years. It's high time to retire Indiana Jones with some dignity. Metroid: Other M gets my vote. It is a shitty game, with an overly linear world. The controls needed a little tweaking.
