I had some time and money to kill, but not enough of either to go to Europe or Asia. I narrowed my list down to French Canada, Panama, Cuba, and Mexico, and eventually decided on a Quebec City-Montral trip over six days. Im planning three in each city, but if someone tells me that one is way better than the other, that could persuade me to spend four days in one.

Does anyone on B8 have experience up there? Anything thats necessary to see? Im making a list of places to visit already, but Ill take advice. The things I like the most are cool cultural things, weird architecture, impressive engineering projects, and museums. I dont need nature sights unless theyre really special.

Talk as little as you can, because they're legit disgusted by the English language in Quebec.

What made you decide there instead of the other countries you listed?

I live in Montreal and have visited Quebec City a couple times before.

When are you going?

EDIT: Just saw it's in April. April might still be kinda coldish so it's a weird time weather-wise. Might be cold or slushy, might not be.

I think three days in each would work, but you could probably cut it down to just two in QC if you aren't really interested in the nature stuff. Old Town is small and 100% worth visiting but since it's small it's not really gonna take too much of your time. The ferry to Levis is kinda nice since you can see the skyline from across the river.

There's more to do in Montreal but it would depend on what you're interested in. Old Port is a classic in Montreal, decent food, cool architecture, and some historical things. Mont Royal is also worth visiting to do a small hike and to check out the viewpoint. If the weather is nice the Lachine Canal is a nice walk too. Other unique architectural things would be the Biosphere in Parc Jean-Drapeau, Habitat 67, and the Olympic Stadium.
