Wasnt a big GOP talking point a few years ago that america was falling behind in education and we were losing our industries to other countries.

So is their solution to this to make everyone less able to understand basic things to work in those industries?

I tried to warn y'all about "settled science", because this was going to happen.

People are stupid.

We all know they actually mean things like sexuality/gender identity/maybe they're still beating the drum about evolution, who knows? Which is all very stupid because those things exist and banning discussion of them is very, very stupid. But it's worse than that.

People who know what constitutes a scientific theory understand that...most of our understanding of the world is still theoretical. Almost all of it, actually. The bill is incredibly stupid and shouldn't even be allowed to be heard in a legislature in a real country; but the language is even more dangerously broad than it initially lets on

That's just a theory. A game theory.

This is all because religious evangelical fundamentalist bible beaters hate Darwin and Evolution disproving the Eden story so they successfully attempted to confuse the concept of Scientific Theory. Scientific Theories are often literally observations that have been tested and replicated. Molecular Theory, Atomic Theory and Germ Theory are WIDELY accepted forms of science.

They're intentionally confusing Theory with the concept of Hypothesis. "Animals evolve over time" is not a Hypothesis, it's a proven Scientific Theory.

I believe its a lot more closer to a theory being a guess, in their eyes. Similar to how one might say I have a theory that anchovies might taste better than pineapple on a pizza, because my cousin said his coworker swears its true, but Im not going to risk wasting a pizza if Im wrong.

Stupid woke scientists must feel stupid throwing around random guesses for a thousand years and pretend they're fact. We're finally gonna put an end to this nonsense and start teaching children facts like God created the world 3000 years ago.
