Wow the sequel blows the first one out of the water. Found the first one kinda boring, although I really like the soundtrack. Yeah the first one is very 80stoo much 80s. it hasnt aged well. the second one is very good though and is a great throwback to the 90s - 2000s Jerry Bruckheimer movies. im not sure if itll be timeless but it will sure she better than the first one did --- Big yellow joint big yellow joint I'll meet you down at the big yellow joint ... I could see the first movie being a good doggo meme, with the music and everything. I thought the relationship part was the only okay part...that and the last part of the movie was kinda exciting. At times I had no clue WTF was going on or what the pilots were doing.
