The entire time he was in the upside down he was pounding vag nonstop. Its why he was so tired and weak. He would bring chicks to that little fort place and take em to pound town. Hes the alpha of the group. He was a ghost of himself from all the bitches he was running through. Thats why the monster thing was so pissed. Will stole all the pieces of ass.

IMO it's deathly obvious if just watch the first episode where he made a painting, and then the first time he sees Mike he brings it with him, but he's too shy to give it to him

Thats sort of the whole point, isnt it? They get to have their cake and eat it too by dropping hints about his sexuality, fueling speculation from the LGBT crowd who wants to see more representation in media, but without ever having to come out and say it straight up and piss off the bigots.

Introducing a new character and having them be gay is not the same as having a character who has been there since day one and revealing that they are gay. I know it seems like it should be the same, but if bigots made logical sense they wouldnt be bigots in the first place.

Bruh, shut the fuck up. It's clearly going to be brought to the forefront at some point and as this topic states, they aren't dropping hints so much as having him carry a full closet with him.

If Steve Harrington can go from being the cliched prettyboy jock + bully to being 100% supportive of his gay friend and going out of his way to try and fix her up with a date, I think the rest of the crew will handle things just fine.

I just watched episode 2 and I can't see how he could be any more flaming in that era.

Roughly every other character in s04 is gay so it's a fairly safe bet

Also should point out that when the show began, Will was a 12 year old boy living in 1983 rural Indiana. Being that age, in that year, in that part of that state, makes coming out a TERRIBLE idea.

i've been wondering about this a while too and i thought maybe he was just having a late bloomer thing bc of his trauma but after s4 and some of the cast comments out of the show (mentioned itt) i'm gonna say

It was SUPPOSED to be ambiguous and they took multiple takes, in one of the takes he adds "yet"

of course they chose the most queerbait take to roll with, which should be telling in of itself. and apparently in the original script(can't verify this as I haven't looked further into it), during the middle school dance when Will is dancing with a girl, he is supposed to be looking longingly at Mike.

Just looked, it's real apparently.

"Will with the Cute Girl, dancing awkwardly. But his eyes aren't on the cute girl. They are on -- -- Mike, who is dancing with Eleven. Their eyes firmly locked."
