like, can i name drop a reddit account that posts hot pics without being modded? how obvious are we allowed to be about which platform the username is for? ie could i do "/u/Giant_Aspirin" to refer to a reddit name, if that account posted NSFW content? it does not

This is one of those things that entirely depends on arbitrary classifications, or in the absence of them, the individual moderator's mood.

Years ago, I got purg'd with a clean history for name dropping a reddit user that did nudes >_> No link, it was just me saying "Look up ____! She has great boobs!"

I wouldn't do it, especially now since it's stricter

yes, but i've also gotten modded for mentioning a NSFW subreddit by name. so i'm kinda not sure.

mods will say things like "terms that easily lead users to NSFW content are not allowed" but if you type "boobs" into google you find boobs and we are allowed to post "boobs". so idk

I've also named dropped other creators who make NSFW content from images, to animations, and even games. Typically you just have to avoid pointing people in the direction of whatever website they use as creator names alone punched into a search engine don't always take you anywhere lewd.

If you mention a particular subreddit that is likely to get you modded. But since most fetishes have an associated subreddit you could just type in random stuff and get relevant results.

This is a site where users post the names of pornstars without any issues but when you post the name of the orange and black site, you get modded.
