Game starts at 7PM EST, or roughly 7 hours from now.

This game will be played under King Maker rules.

Every day people will vote to elect a King, and that person is the sole decider of who lives and who dies on any given day. If no King is elected after 24 hours the day immediately ends in no lynch. It always takes a formal majority to elect a King. To vote for a king simply use the format ##King: playername

Everyone will be a King regardless of their actual gender for voting purposes, however in my fanciful flavor I will call anyone Queen if they message me asking me to do so.

There is a twilight period after the King has made their decision. During this time players may discuss the game as usual. The twilight period ends after I post the flip and night begins. There is no escape from the Kings judgment in this game. No roles exist in the framework of this game that can, in any shape or form, impede the Kings judgment from passing. Once you have been voted by the King your death is assured. This is a host decree, and any host decree is a certainty.

At the dawn of any day where a King may cause town to fall after the lynch but before night phase, instead the game becomes one of majority rule as the rabble becomes too frightened to vote for a King.

Players may not be voted as King on consecutive days. It is good to be the King however, as the night after your performance you cannot be killed by any means due to having Aegis of the Host upon you. Not even the most skilled assassin in the world can harm you under my protection.

All players will know, henceforth, that there are four mafia, twelve town members, and one independent. The independent is forbidden from claiming Independent and does not win with the town or the mafia under any circumstances. It is known to all players that the independent does not have a killing ability.

All players will know, henceforth, that the mafia does not have traditional roles. Instead they are granted points for ????, ????, and ???? which can be used to buy actions every night.

EXAMPLE: Player A uses Roleblock n1 at ??? cost. Player B uses Roleblock n2 at ??? cost. This is a valid night 1 to night 2 mafia strategy in order to move around who has the abilities. Please keep this in mind as you are playing.

The Mafia Factional Kill does not cost any points to be used.

Come on. Get hyped. You dont need a special power to sway a game all youve got is a role PM saying that you are town and free reign to do whatever you want. You are unburdened by the shackles of roles or the weight of a night action. Instead you get to vote how you please, stomp a mudhole into some sorry person every single day, and if you die you get to talk about it to other people post-game and how you played super well because you managed to protect power. All you have is your vote, and you know something? Personally speaking I wouldnt have it any other way. Give me a vanilla role, a playerbase I havent played with before, and let my mind soar. I never feel more alive in a mafia game than when I open my role PM and I get to see the glory that is Town Vanilla plastered right there. So go out there and show these people what a motivated Town Vanilla can go. Be active. Be a town leader. Own this game, own the mafia, and make them say your god damn name. You win with Town

I take this seriously so that I may have fun flavor without people trying to meta the host. Trying to meta the host will end very badly for you. Trying to pick apart specific phrasing in roles will end very badly for you.

I have given a wide breadth of information to multiple factions that may or may not be used in order to take advantage of prospective players who wish to gain an advantage by playing the host instead of their fellow players. Consider yourself warned, this is like my 100th game hosted here and I have yet to be successfully metad.

5. Kidnapping/Commuting
6. Common Night Actions
7. Regular Killing Abilities

This list is not a confirmation that all of these types of roles are in the game in any capacity.

No one may claim independent, regardless of actual alignment.

Finally, I will not tolerate anyone blocking or ignoring people in this game. I also will not tolerate harassment. Harassment is not calling into question peoples mafia ability.

Example: Your vote is stupid here, your line of thought makes no sense. is fine. You are stupid, I cant believe they even let you sign up with how bad you are is not. There is a difference. I will modkill on the spot. Dont mess with your hosts fervent wish for a beautiful game, thank you.

I split the game into 4 differing tiers based solely on player meta.

My tier 1 list for king based solely on this meta has 5 players on it. I'll be posting it in full when I get home from work.

I think it could be interesting to look back on later as a possible source of information if we got a shortlist from more people.

For the record, my tier 1s were Death, Han, Lopen, Plum, and SBell.

I'd like to know if we're allowed to vote and then unvote for the King?

What are your reasons for selecting a certain group of people as king based on exactly?

I've been thinking about this a lot, I think we need to claim who we are planning on killing as king prior to the 24 hours being over, that way we have a representative democracy instead of a monarchy.

I think that will lead to less yolo lynches.

Also don't king me D1. My D1's suck. I need info

(Also for the record, I'm in tier 3 on my own list for day 1 due to day 1 generally being my most unstable and volatile day)

No, but I do think the decision for day 1 should be wildly different than the decision we'd want day 2 and beyond

Ok I am making up my own methodology of doing this.

My gut is that electing a king is more dangerous than lynching day 1 because we have basically no info whatsoever. Because of that I am leaning towards a no king no lynch, however if we are going to do a no lynch it would be better to do a 48 hour no lynch over a 24 hour no lynch.

So right now I am representing no lynch if you king me. If I change my mind I will change my ##Represent

rules interpretation question as i've never played kingmaker. as i understand this paragraph, the king is elected at the 24 hour mark, and then that person has a subsequent 24 hours to determine whom to lynch? But they could choose to do so at any point within that 24 hours?

And if they chose to do so, say, 2 hours into that 24, we'd have a twilight period of like, 22 hours just to talk before the person actually dies and night phase starts? Or the twilight period is just like, however long it takes Chris to see someone has died and post their flip?

I'm still tired from my trip so I won't be rambling on a ton in these early hours but I fully endorse electing me as king if we want bloodshed and ruthless crime solving

Nah lopen I do not trust. He's using the power of big kingly words and empty promises to ask for kingship right now. Like a politician. Elect first, results later? I don't like it. I don't even know his policies

Putting Tidus and Lopen on my immediate don't make him King today list. For completely different reasons

I say we elect today someone a little less good at the game than lopen who cannot easily fake making a terrible or self driven desicion at the end of day

As your future king I cannot yet promise a scum lynch on day 1 so early into the game, but I do promise to generate enough squirming to have a wealth of information to give us an excellent foundation to solve the game through THE KING'S TRIALS

just so you know, if I ask for king on a later day almost immediately, it's probably a good idea to give it to me

you gotta resist the temptation to reveal all of your powers on Day 1 every game

Oh, duh. I figured out the math of the problem of d1 king kills.

Its 25% more dangerous as a normal mafia game.

If we random king with no info we have a 4/17 chance of kinging scum who will kill town 100% of the time. (Bus seems extremely unlikely)

If we random king Town that town still has a 11/16 chance of killing town

So we have roughly a 13/17 * 5/16 chance of killing scum with a lynch today through RNG, which in 24 hours seems likely.

Elect me and I pledge not to kill anyone unless they are super obvious like Tidus last game.

I don't expect to get King and if you want me to vote you king you're really going to have to convince me you're town.

I have no idea how to play this.
