Sekiro is included as well.

I think I would have to go with Sekiro. Owl Father and Isshin were insane.

I think Bloodborne takes 2nd for me, and if we include DLC, Dark Souls 3 and Sister Frieda slayed me.

Sekiro, it by default is a lot more technical and pretty much every other entry has cheese you can abuse.

Hard to say. Maybe Bloodborne or DS3? Both have some rough ones if you also count Chalice Dungeons. Sekiro is weird as that becomes one of the easiest once you get into the rhythm of it.

Sekiro is the hardest in terms of actual difficulty. Dark Souls 2 is hardest because of its awful hit boxes and artificial difficulty.

Sekiro is the one that is most impossible to progress yourself to victory, in that you can't farm 10 levels to get some more hp or more damage or wear heavier armor to support your badness.

sekiro has the most challenging gameplay, even if you're using a guide

dark souls 1 gets an honorable mention for keeping the core mechanics so obscure

however- i will say that every sekiro boss fight feels like it has a clear avenue to victory, and you're guaranteed to have the tools. a boss fight in elden ring or a souls game where you have the wrong build, the wrong items, or are just too low level can be more miserable than any sekiro boss because there isn't any visible way to win

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.

DS1 is the only one I've played so far, but no doubt there are tougher ones. I will say it would've been fucking impossible if I didn't have someone giving me advice, though.

Elden Ring without Summon Spirits

Not an elitist post or shunning people using summons. I just had a ton of fun playing Elden Ring like the way I did the entire series. It was a brutally hard experience though and the hardest in the series without a doubt.

Difficulty ranking goes

Elden Ring > Sekiro > Dark Souls II > Bloodborne > Dark Souls III > Dark Souls > Demon's Souls

your first one

...Maybe Sekiro? But even then I feel like that's a small-scale version of the above in that you have to learn the new way combat flows so it's sorta like learning your first Souls game. Once I got into it I felt it was actually probably the simplest/easiest honestly.

Otherwise... idk Dark Souls II?

DNP: Demon's Souls or Elden Ring.
