Amazon distribution centers have no air conditioning. Rather than change this Bezos decided it's more cost effective to have EMTs onsite and revive those people who pass out.

To prevent theft you need to enter and exit distro centers via security checkpoints. Sometimes this process can take 45min. Your shift ends at 5PM but you don't leave the building until 5:45PM because of the checkpoint. Bezos lobbied states to make it legal to not have to pay staff for time spent in these lines.

He's anti-union as fuck. Amazon steals product designs and sells there own basic cheaper versions.

I could go on all day but you can search the internet yourself. Bezos is your typical billionaire whose ego has grown to the point where he's gone supervillain.

The reason why people say he's "stealing" is because that wealth is being generated by labor, not by Bezos. At the very least, we can agree that his wealth in no way reflects how much more valuable he is than the average Amazon employee.

Furthermore, when those employees are generating that much wealth for you and they're still on government assistance programs, that means the public is subsidizing your business. You're effectively taking money from the public to cover your operating costs.

Whether you consider this stealing is up to you, but it's definitely exploitative.

Um, the employees aren't just the only thing that made Bezos a billionaire....

You can't forget the customers. Without the customers buying stuff from Amazon, he also wouldn't be a billionaire.

So yeah, the stealing is a low-IQ point.

He's pretty well hated. There's an entire group of people that legitimately believe Gates is a satan worshipping baby rapist.

As for Bezos, the lengths his company goes to resist unions is pretty deplorable, imo. They could shoulder the cost of unionized employees but then that would curb their ability to undercut every single other retailer to maintain their dominance.

Realistically, all he'd have to do is make Amazon an actually good place to work and I don't think anyone would give a shit. The fact that they have so many news stories about people pissing themselves and whatnot, that's what makes him bad.

The average Amazon Warehouse worker actually gets paid less than what the average warehouse worker makes.

Even if that weren't the case, it's still insultingly low and indeed exploitative when you factor in how Bezos has more money than he can reasonably spend in 10 lifetimes while his workers have to piss in bottles and work under incredibly unsafe work conditions....while still being on government assistance programs. And because you still seem to forget, this wealth is being generated mostly by the employees.

Lol, that's not how this works. The average consumer does not have the purchasing power to substantially impact the economy. Also, the nature of mega-conglomerates like Amazon is that they eventually crush or absorb their competitors.

It's also impossible not to inadvertently end up supporting Amazon due to how massive their global distribution network is and how many pies they have their fingers in.

But since you want to bring up low-IQ takes, let's talk about the idea that individual consumers should be held responsible for macro-level economics and shitty business practices that they have no real direct say in. But that's what happens with neoliberal brain rot.
