Assuming you know what westernized is, it's a country that adopts western values, mainly euro-north american lifestyles who share common politics or living standards..

And all of these countries are subjected to these westernization values..but only ONE is not..can you guess which?

Yup you crushed it. Those are the falklands islands

A few of those look almost identical?

Beyond that, I'm not sure what really constitutes a "Western nation" although I think one of those flags is from Eastern Europe.

#4 looks like an African flag, though, so maybe that?

damn thought maybe #6 because it looked african for some reason (red and green I guess) but that's portugal which I should have recognized as it's geographically one of my favorite countries.

I feel like these terms are bandied about in a meaningless fashion, although "Westernized" sometimes has additional connotations so... idk

I knew 4 was South Africa since it has such a cool flag, but figured it was at least sort of western.

How is South Africa not westernized considering they were colonized by the British for a good century ; and prior to that it was colonized by the Netherlands and to some extent Portugal.

I think the whole problem is that "Westernized" is just a placard you hang around the neck of countries you generally approve of, but one for which you rarely offer a definition. Having a political system, legislature, judiciary, and executive inherited directly from European models, and English as an official language and language of education, apparently isn't enough to qualify a state as "Westernized", instead it's about "lifestyles".
