I ended up going fuck it, even though Id been quite prepared to drop a shit ton on a Christmas present for my wife. Went back in a few weeks later on my lunch break, was dressed in my full corporate asshat attire and she was falling over herself to be helpful. Obsequious to the point of being ridiculous. I was like nahhh that shit doesnt fly. I told her to serve someone else and asked one of the other assistance to ring me up.
