I like Bastion. I'm not a fan of Transistor, but I'm in the minority on that.

It's been like 20 years since I've played Bastion, so it's not at all fresh in my mind, but I remember liking it. Probably my least favorite Supergiant game.

But I just played Transistor for the first time this past April, and it's incredible. The level of customization you get for just a few moves is outrageous.

Supergiant games are on sale all the time.

I'm of the opinion that Bastion stood out a ton when it came out and I loved it then, but I just can't get myself to replay it, not a ton of meat there.

Transistor I loved. Some of the mechanics are interesting but I thought the setting and presentation were infinitely better.

Pyre is my personal fave, I think it completely blows the other two out fo the water.

Bastion is good, though I think the combat has aged poorly. Especially if you are coming from Hades. The rest of the game holds up well enough, although it's a lot less impressive today than it used to be.

Bastion is a great game, but it's nothing special by today indie standards. It's worth playing but I don't believe it's a must play or anything

I think I beat Transistor in one sitting and I don't remember anything about it just it being pretty mediocre

I agree with this. Basically, every game by super giant they've polished their combat a little bit more. Pyre has the most variety and is the most unique, but transistor is my favorite. The combat is really cool, and you can mix and match abilities in really fun ways.

Plus, transistor has the best music, atmosphere, and aesthetics.

Bastion felt really special when it came out, but not so much anymore. Other indies have followed its lead and copied some of its good ideas, especially the concept of a consistent narrator. Still a good game though. Transistor probably stands out more among modern game standards.

Transistor is less than the sum of its parts; lots of good ideas (I really like the way you unlock lore entries) and great presentation but the battle mechanics never fully come together in a strong way

Bastions incredible. Even if Supergiant has progressed on their combat design since then, the aesthetic, music, and narration are so good that it still holds up.

Just looked it up and Bastion is actually $2.99 and Transistor is $3.99. Not bad. Even if Bastion sucks, hey it's just 3 bucks.

Bastion is pretty good. Nothing mind-blowing but a fun yet kinda short experience.
