Uhh...what? Where did this come from? I know literally nothing about Windows 11. Is anyone doing this?

Stay away for at least a while. This feels like it was rushed out and they're still dealing with a lot of issues and missing features.

I made a topic when I did my upgrade when it came... at least 3 weeks ago?

As someone who has never had issues with upgrading early - including to Win8 that was widely despised.... upgrading to 11 was a terrible mistake.

There's really nothing gained from doing it, yet random features are inexplicably removed that will annoy you. Namely that windows in the taskbar only have the option to always combine (you aren't allowed to show labels/titles for windows anymore), nor can you drag items between windows via the taskbar, you have to either have both windows open at once or alt+tab between them while dragging. Inexplicably Win11 doesn't even let you see the seconds when you click on the taskbar clock anymore, or even in Windows own separate Clock app altogether.

oh yeah just yesterday I tried to adjust my audio output devices to direct a particular window/app only to use a different output device than the default, which I've commonly done in Win10.... but I haven't been able to figure out how to do that in 11, which I can only see changing the audio output device for everything rather than specific applications

I waited until the 11th hour (no pun intended) to upgrade to Win10 for free and definitely don't regret letting everyone else beta test it first, since I've never really had any trouble with 10 but there were so many horror stories back when it debuted.

I was just shocked this seemed to drop in out of the blue. I barely even know Win 11 exists.

No intent to do so. The reason being that my graphics card is officially dated (as opposed to unofficially like it was five months ago), so it's not like my computer can handle it anyway.

I only will do so after upgrading my parts, which may not be for a couple years (but some need to happen soon).

I will say I'm interested in the native android app support.... but that's not coming for a whole damn year from now so yeah Win11 has literally nothing going for it right now beyond removing shit you probably like
