billcom6 07/14/21 11:00:58 PM #1:	Driving home tonight on the highway, I get over to get off and as soon as I get in that lane there is a huge chunk of tire, too big and too late to avoid, so I hit it. Knocked the plastic covering on the bottom of my car loose. No idea what other damage it did, but I was able to drive it the 2 miles home, so I hope nothing serious was damaged. There is zero reason to ground the car waiting for parts, it's perfectly safe to drive. Those belly pans are just there to keep road grime and road debris out of the engine compartment, and to a lesser extent reduce drag and maaaybe optimize airflow through the radiator shroud.
