I know the game controls were clunky even on the N64, but I don't think it was this bad. I'm using a PDP controller that's similar to the Pro controller. When I use punch button Mario will sometimes dive instead if the left stick is not completely neutral. Was it always like that?
It must have been easier on the N64 with just that one stick in the middle of the controller.

You can stay bitter all you want and waste your time trying to enjoy a game you never will. The game is already besting you because you're wasting your time, as I am talking to you, Lmao

Do you still have it sealed?
It may be worth a fuckton of money come April because the collection is being discontinued both digitally and physically.

Yeah that was what I noticed about it immediately. The analog stick does NOT feel like the analog stick on the original version. The acceleration is all wrong.

That's what I figured.
At the very least Bowser probably won't literally kill the controller this time.

No Arv intends on keeping it and playing it. Its fun to make a buck but Arv is against scalping and would be a hipocrite if he did that

I'd only maybe eventually sell it like 10-15 years down the line, if I had the games available another way. Love playing the games on the collection, put the most time into SM64 so far.

Sunshine is actually the only one I don't own an original copy of, despite still owning a Gamecube and many games for it.
The Gamecube copy is going for more money than the entire Switch All-Stars collection is at the moment.
On a side note, I kept Pokemon Black in my backlog and never actually opened it, still has the 34.99 price tag on it. I look now and it's going for like 350 dollars new, WTF

I'm at 99 stars right now. The last 21 are going to suck with rainbow ride and the clock level.

Sunshine has more polished controls (mostly) but it's structurally so much worse. Fewer levels, less variety to the level themes, less freedom within levels, less freedom to how you unlock levels, shadow Mario over and over, goop over and over, etc. Not saying that 64 lacks in dumb star objectives though

That's kind of what I'm hoping for. I ordered it prior to release, but by the time it arrived I realized it was kind of pointless when I've already got all three original games, especially where I later set up all of the old systems to be able to play the originals whenever I want to. It's still sealed and in the bubble envelope it arrived in. If the resale price ends up high enough after sales are discontinued, I may sell it for a profit. If not, oh well.

Eh, I wouldn't liken this to scalping, really. Anyone that's interested in it has had a solid 6 months to buy a copy, whether physically or digitally. A(n artificial) supply shortage will kick in once they stop selling the game next month, which you'll be taking advantage of if you resell it, but you aren't buying up a limited supply in order to do so, which is what sets scalping apart from ordinary reselling.
