i'm in act 2, i'm almost done with the artificial love quest, and then i got the two other ones you get thrown at you, too, that i've done nothing with

i've done loads of sidequests, i'm level 15, and i don't know if i like this game or not.

i keep playing it, and i don't understand why. i want to play it, but i can't put my finger on what is making me what to play it.

the story is mediocre. like extremely mediocre, with two unlikeable protagonists, the sidequests have...no story, really. the delamain sidequest was pretty decent. the glados car was great. the games general mechanics are...less than even a shitshow bethesda game. nothing has ownership, so you can be a thief with exactly zero repercussions. that's boring. not that anything you find is really any different. it's mostly booze and snacks that...probably exactly no one uses. weapons are...uh, just the same four things repeated over and over with slightly higher stats. clothing is cool, i wish that i could just hide something while still wearing it, though. and sorting options are...too much. it's a sensory overload when you look at your entire inventory. and then sorting is completely useless. you can sort by name, rarity, new, and dps. that's functionally useless. dps is not a filter anyone should use, since it doesn't mean a single thing in the context of this game. especially when it comes to armor. sorting by dps does nothing. and you can't sort by highest armor rating. what the fuck is that nonsense? fix it.

as much as i dislike witcher 3, i'm gonna have to give it up for decent voice acting, geralt notwithstanding, and sidequest stories. even if they are just fucking fetch quests ad nauseum.

i'm not going to comment on the glitches and bugs, because that's been done to death and i've gotten used to them. they're worse than a bethesda game, and that's all i'll say on that.

The only issue I have is the bugs and crashes. Get those ironed out and this is a good game. It's not for everyone though and as you dislike Witcher 3 I wouldn't imagine you liking this game.

So now Ive started over focusing on blades and athletics and Im having a blast. Katanas and mantis blades are crazy OP. Im running around in fights like freaking wolverine

Thats what I did too. Once I learned to put perks into unlocking the better quick hacks it got a lot more fun. Im at level 36 already.
