Would you take on a job like this?

Dailymail has learned that The El Paso County Medical Examiner's Office is posting a HELP WANTED ad that apparently NO ONE wants to be temporary morgue workers to help with the surge of COVID-19 victims!!

It will pay a massive 27.20 an hour and requires someone to be able to lift between 100 to 400 pounts with assistance

Anyone who is willing to work the graveyard shift for 4 hours will be paid an extra 70 cents per hour

Workers will be given personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves and will be tested for the virus

It said "Not only is this assignment physically taxing, but it may be emotionally taxing as well"

The county is so desperate that they have to use LOW LEVEL INMATES to give the job to and are only being paid 2 DOLLARS an hour

Judge Ricard Samaniego said there are 247 bodies at the morgue still refigerated and being used as "mobile morgues" and with 1062 new cases and 22 deaths, they expect the count to rise throughout the deadly winter season

Minimum security inmates are paid way below minimum wage to help move bodies as they are having trouble staffing people until temporary morgue workeres are hired

Mixed in with the hot water, they said many temporary workers quit after an hour and 30 minutes and it's been a difficult process as even the Texas National Guard has to help aid the process

Samaniego has called for non-essential businesses to be shutdown given the massive influx of patients in hospitals and deaths but Restaurant Owners and Attorney General, Ken Paxton has called him a TYRANT and said "A tyrant who thinks he can ignore state law cannot stop that. I will not let rogue political subdivisions try to kill small businesses and holiday gatherings through unlawful executive orders".

He hit back at Paxton on not being sympathetic and said it is unfortunate that the "Texas" AG finds the opportunity to gloat instead of coming to El Paso to witness the morgue and situation they are in

Would you take on this job?

400 pounds would probably be too much for me but im not opposed to the concept of the job. Using prisoners is a good way to handle it though.

It says assisted, so for that you'd probably be moving them on a trolley or stretcher or something. Even a world-class strong man would have a hard time lifting a 400lbs body.

Is the average american 400lbs now, or is that the load on one dolly (like 2~4 bodies), or are they filled with preservation chemicals that makes them heavier

100-400 they're basically giving an estimated upper limit.
