Well Spider-Man is more fun when it comes to moment to moment gameplay, but God of War is a more substantive narrative experience and definitely has more challenging gameplay.

Depends on what youre in the mood for but I guess Id say go with Spider-Man first because its not too tough to get 100% completion in the game if thats your thing

They're both fantastic, I don't think either is a bad choice.

I think God of War is better, and I think it took me longer to beat it, so I'd say Spider-Man first.

Yeah God of War is definitely a slower experience.

I'd say blow through Spider-Man and then if you ever get in the mood to go back to it you can play Miles Morales.

Spider-Man's probably easier to get into, and you'll likely finish it faster. God of War is a bit meatier.

If I were you, I'd play Spider-Man first as an appetizer and save God of War until second.

I enjoyed both quite a bit and got the Platinum for both of them. I don't think you can go wrong either way, just depends on what kind of experience you want first.

Eh I hated God of War, so I'd say play Spiderman and return GOW personally.

I don't get why people says it has a substantial narrative, the entire plot is a mcguffin quest. The enemies are annoyingly repetitive and the puzzles all amount to 'find where you need to throw the axe'. I played it for thirty hours waiting for it to get as good as people claim it to be and finally just quit

I agree with the reasoning that Spider-Man is a better choice simply because you're likely to finish it sooner. The logic is sound.

Spider-Man is shorter so that. I love God of War though.

Yeah they do improve. Most of the side content is shite though.

God of War is easily the better game imo but Spiderman is decent and quicker so was probably the right choice.

The puzzles get harder but never close to actually hard. The side stuff in general was meh though. Unless you want the specific suits from some of it there isnt much lost if you skip out on it.
